If you are overweight and are planning to shed weight, there are many important things that you should take care off. Many people teach that by merely taking a low calorie diet you can lose weight.
In my opinion the low calorie diet is not the panacea of all you ills and certainly not for losing weight. You should bring down the number of calories in your diet by proper planning in consultation of dieticians, but you shouldn’t think of going for something wired like reducing it to 400 or 500 calories a day.
There is a trend of HCG Diet. The diet limits total intake to close or less than 500 calories. Many dieticians and medical experts have called it a dangerous tendency.
To be frank, you cannot lose weight by merely dieting. Though it is an important part of the planning to lose weight. But things should be done moderately and opting for a diet that will leave you powerless may not be a good idea after all.
